I am a big fan of biking touring. I try to get out on at least one major tour every year or two. I also like hiking, backpacking, camping, and travelling.

BIKING and TOURING

Sept 2007: Biking and Bagging in Scotland: Biking and hiking in the Western Isles and the Scotish Highlands.

Sept - Oct 2005: Two Wheels on the Front: England, Belgium, and France -- Cycling the Canadian Battle lines from the First World War.

May - June, 2003: Touring in England Five weeks of riding in England -- the north of England is tough!

June - July, 2002: BikeBC
3500 km in south / central BC -- absolutely FANTASTIC!.

May, 2001: Lizard Lake
A backroad trip to the west side of Vancouver Island.

HIKING and CAMPING

April 14, 2007:Saturna Island Hike. Mt. Warburton-Pike and Taylor Point -- one of Canada's newest National Park Reserves.

July 29 -20, 2006:Jade Lake Hike. In the backcountry of Mt Revelstoke National Park.

Jan - Mar, 2003: Vancouver Island Parks. Pictures from hikes in the Victoria area.

Dec 31, 2002: New Years Eve Camping at Sombrio beach on New Years Eve.

Dec 20, 2002: Mt. Washington
X-country skiing at Mt. Washingtong (kind of like hiking).

TRAVEL
